September 17, 2011 - FastMed Urgent Care announced today that they will be providing adult and children's flu vaccination shots for $15 each as a health and wellness outreach.
"The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that everyone 6 months and older should get the flu vaccine yearly. Get your vaccine now so that you will be protected when the flu season starts in October. I highly recommend getting the flu shot to protect yourself and your loved ones." according to Dr. Melvin Lee, Chief Medical Officer for FastMed Urgent Care.
Receiving your fall flu shot is important as influenza viruses are always changing, and each season's vaccine is designed specifically for that variant strand of influenza.
